Tomadas del archivo publicado, sin retocar. Una página de mazo que no enseña ninguna ficha no dice nada.

  • Anverso aberration
Reverso failure of rays to converge at one focus because of limitations or defects in a lens or mirror
  • Anverso amplitude modulation (AM)
Reverso a method for placing information on electromagnetic waves by modulating the amplitude of a carrier wave with an audio signal, resulting in a wave with constant frequency but varying amplitude
  • Anverso astigmatism
Reverso the result of an inability of the cornea to properly focus an image onto the retina
  • Anverso axis of a polarizing filter
Reverso the direction along which the filter passes the electric field of an EM wave
  • Anverso birefringent
Reverso crystals that split an unpolarized beam of light into two beams

Este mazo se modificó al incorporarlo: Entries were taken from the end-of-chapter glossaries of chapters 24, 25, 26, 27 and gathered into one deck; the chapter structure of the book is not reproduced. HTML formatting was stripped to plain text, and superscripts and subscripts were converted to the corresponding Unicode characters so that a charge or an index is not lost (H⁺, not H+; T₄, not T4). An entry was dropped when its definition is shorter than 30 characters or longer than 400 characters, when it contains an image, a table or a mathematical formula that is not reproduced here, when it refers to a figure, a table or another chapter, when it is dated by wording such as "currently" or "as of", when it is a bare cross-reference to another term, or when a superscript could not be converted faithfully. Duplicates were removed on the term and on the definition alike, both compared after lowercasing, removing parentheses and reducing plurals to singulars; a term or a definition already used by another Memoquiz deck built from OpenStax was dropped as well. Each deck is capped at 150 entries and holds at least 30. The wording of every definition that was kept is unchanged.
