이 덱은 가져오는 과정에서 수정되었습니다: Entries were taken from the Key Terms glossaries of chapters 3, 4 and gathered into one deck; the chapter structure of the book is not reproduced. HTML formatting was stripped to plain text. Entries were dropped when the definition is shorter than 25 characters, longer than 400 characters, refers to a figure, a table or another chapter, or repeats a definition already kept; a term already used by another Memoquiz deck built from these books was dropped as well, and each deck is capped at 150 entries. The wording of every definition that was kept is unchanged. This deck is a rebuild of a deck that had been withdrawn from the catalogue after review found factual errors coming from the source. A second, much stricter filter was applied on top of the one described above: every card carrying a digit was dropped, and with it every date, quantity and figure; so were time-dependent wordings, multiple-choice turns of phrase, negative questions, answers made of a single ambiguous word or a bare acronym, and cards duplicating — in either direction — a card already served by another deck in this catalogue. Nothing was rewritten: a card was either kept as the source wrote it, or dropped. Review of this rebuild removed six further entries and no other change was made to any definition kept: "loose connective tissue", whose definition duplicates word for word the one given for "areolar tissue"; "checkpoint" and "cutaneous membrane", whose source wording is broken ("a subsequence phase", "a stratified squamous epithelial cells"); and "goblet cell", "mucous gland" and "mucous membrane", whose definitions use the adjective "mucous" where the source meant the noun "mucus". Those wordings could not be corrected without departing from the source, so the cards were dropped rather than rewritten. One formatting normalisation was applied: the trailing full stop was removed from the three definitions that carried one ("connective tissue proper", "muscle tissue", "nervous tissue"), so that every definition ends the same way; no word was changed.
