Dieser Stapel wurde bei der Aufnahme verändert: Every MMLU question is a multiple-choice item: four options and a letter for an answer. Memoquiz resolved the letter, wrote the correct option out in full on the back and threw the other three away — a card answering “B” would teach nothing. Questions that do not stand up without their options were discarded (“which of the following”, references to a passage, a figure, a chapter or a scenario, numeric answers, true/false, rank answers), together with the calculation and case-study subjects. A second, stricter pass also removes questions and answers carrying extraction scars (broken hyphenation, run-together words, raw ligatures, quotes or brackets stuck to a word), shouted all-caps wording, perishable phrasing (“currently”, “today”, “as of 2020”), second-person scenarios and answers longer than twelve words. Retained questions are reproduced word for word, with no rewriting; only the trailing full stop of answers is normalised away, so that punctuation does not change from card to card. Subjects are grouped by theme and each deck is capped at 200 notes, spread across its subjects round-robin.
