This deck was modified when it was brought in: Entries were taken from the end-of-chapter glossaries of chapters 35, 36 and gathered into one deck; the chapter structure of the book is not reproduced. HTML formatting was stripped to plain text, and superscripts and subscripts were converted to the corresponding Unicode characters so that a charge or an index is not lost (H⁺, not H+; T₄, not T4). An entry was dropped when its definition is shorter than 30 characters or longer than 400 characters, when it contains an image, a table or a mathematical formula that is not reproduced here, when it refers to a figure, a table or another chapter, when it is dated by wording such as "currently" or "as of", when it is a bare cross-reference to another term, or when a superscript could not be converted faithfully. Duplicates were removed on the term and on the definition alike, both compared after lowercasing, removing parentheses and reducing plurals to singulars; a term or a definition already used by another Memoquiz deck built from OpenStax was dropped as well. Each deck is capped at 150 entries and holds at least 30. A review after that pass removed three further entries: one whose glossary definition states a mechanism the other way round, one whose definition is too unspecific to identify its own term, and one carrying a typographic defect of the source that could not be repaired without altering the wording. The wording of every definition that was kept is unchanged.
