This deck was modified when it was brought in: No album title and no artist name has been rewritten: both sides of every card are MusicBrainz’s own, character for character. The changes are selection and splitting. The artists are a hand-picked list, grouped by genre; for each of them the deck keeps only release groups typed as albums with no secondary type — so no compilations, live records, soundtracks or remix albums — credited to that artist alone rather than to a collaboration, and carrying at least three community ratings, which is the only notability signal the database offers. Titles that merely repeat the artist’s name are left out, and an album title that appears twice in the same deck takes both of its cards down with it.
