Este mazo se modificó al incorporarlo: Entries were taken from the end-of-chapter glossaries of chapters 39 and 40 and gathered into one deck; the chapter structure of the book is not reproduced. HTML formatting was stripped to plain text, and superscripts and subscripts were converted to the corresponding Unicode characters so that a charge or an index is not lost (H⁺, not H+; T₄, not T4). An entry was dropped when its definition is shorter than 30 characters or longer than 400 characters, when it contains an image, a table or a mathematical formula that is not reproduced here, when it refers to a figure, a table or another chapter, when it is dated by wording such as "currently" or "as of", when it is a bare cross-reference to another term, or when a superscript could not be converted faithfully. Duplicates were removed on the term and on the definition alike, both compared after lowercasing, removing parentheses and reducing plurals to singulars; a term or a definition already used by another Memoquiz deck built from OpenStax was dropped as well. A later editorial review of this deck removed 23 further entries that the automated filters had let through: entries whose stripped markup was left broken or whose index could not be rendered in Unicode, entries whose definition repeated the term, near-duplicate pairs that differed only by a tail of the sentence, and entries whose source definition is factually wrong or misleading for a learner who has no way to detect the error from the card. Such entries were removed, never rewritten: we do not correct the source. Each deck is capped at 150 entries and holds at least 30. The wording of every definition that was kept is unchanged.
